Latest Updates from Our Project:

$1,000 Matching Donor, Next Livestream, and New Hero Props Reward
over 6 years ago – Mon, Oct 30, 2017 at 11:41:16 AM

Hello There Everyone,

I hope you are gearing up for an amazing Halloween; Frank & Zed are still bickering about what to wear (Laurel & Hardy is the current front runner).

Of course, right now we are in the final 10 days of the finishing funds Kickstarter. We have raised over $10,000 so far and I continued to be amazed and humbled by the support.

An anonymous donor has agreed to match all pledges made today up to $1,000. So, if you were thinking of snagging a shirt, hoodie, or prop from the film - now would be a great day to do it. As a reminder, you can pledge any of these items as 'Add Ons' and do not need to pledge at those tiers levels.

Also, all non-movie rewards ship this November (T-Shirts, Hoodies, Props, etc!). Please message me with any questions.

I've got 10 very special props from Frank & Zed that need new homes. One of them is pictured above! These props are all featured prominently in the film and come with a still of them in action, signed by the Director, Sculptor, and Lead Puppeteer on Frank & Zed.

I want to give you a headstart on snagging one. So, the reward is live now but I will not announce on FB or add images to the page until tomorrow.

Next Livestream this Thursday at 6:30 PM PST

I will be talking about how we made the sets, props, and puppets. Plus, I'll answer any questions you have. Feel free to comment or message me with questions and I'll answer them on the show.

Questions from the last livestream:

Work on the movie continues. We are gearing up to shoot the Spider from a recent update tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your support,

Best,

Jesse

Celebration Outtake, Practical Effects Livestream Tonight.
over 6 years ago – Thu, Oct 26, 2017 at 09:04:21 AM

Dear Frank & Zed-ites,

This battleship of a film is inching it's way forward thanks to your amazing support. We have started work on the Gargoyles for the Dark Maker's Castle.

4 of 12 Gargoyles Funded!
4 of 12 Gargoyles Funded!

We have 8 other gargoyles to customize and bring to life. I am eagerly awaiting to see if they get funded and what wonderful totems we get to craft for their backers.

One of the highlights of this past week was seeing backers Johnny and Randy's puppets featured in Fangoria (They've got half a MILLION followers on Facebook!)

Frank's Axe Outtake: A moment of celebration!

Working with puppets, even the simplest action is a challenge. In this tiny clip, you'll see Frank throw his axe AND a glimpse of the forest we created for him to stalk.

The above is not really an outtake but a moment of celebration: we got it to work!

Livestream Tonight: (It will also be available afterwards to watch.)

Extra Bits:

Team Puppetcore Member, Cameron Harrison has a great Trekkie podcast going. Check it out here.

Instead of 'Frank & Zed' what about 'Eddie & Frankie?" Cool animated short.

Crazy, futuristic, clone army, wasteland short. Looks super cool.

Kickstarter 2 Funding Goal for you.

I want to give everybody something to look forward to if our second campaign is successful. So, I had this idea, you know how donors always get their names inscribed into the bricks around the building? Well, let's do that for everybody!

We'll announce this reward when we hit halfway on the new campaign.
We'll announce this reward when we hit halfway on the new campaign.

Assuming we are successful in the second campaign, we'll create a cobblestone street in Murder Village and inscribe all the stones with your initials. Then, we'll take a fancy, high-res image and put it up on our website (and allow you to download it as well) so you can find yourself. Should be super cool and add an amazing textture to the stones.
